The principle of color printing on cork paper mainly involves anti-corrosion treatment on the cork substrate, spraying colored ink, and improving the adhesion performance of pigments through transparent protective solution to prevent pigment infiltration and peeling.

Anti corrosion treatment: The cork substrate is first soaked in an anti-corrosion treatment solution, so that the anti-corrosion components can be dispersed in the gaps of the cork substrate, making the treated cork have relatively stable anti-corrosion performance and less susceptible to acid and alkali corrosion. The purpose of this step is to enhance the durability and stability of the cork, laying the foundation for the subsequent printing process.

Spray printing color ink: White ink and color ink are applied to cork that has undergone anti-corrosion treatment through spray printing. This printing technology can improve the adhesion performance of pigments, making them less likely to peel off. The use of white ink is particularly important as it can provide a good base color to support subsequent color printing.

Application of transparent protective solution: after the paint is sprayed, the transparent protective solution made of modified silica and water-based fluorocarbon lotion resin is applied on the surface of the paint. The purpose of this step is to further protect the pigment, prevent pigment infiltration, and enhance its wear resistance, heat resistance, and chemical resistance.
